I love it here. I think I loved it here ever since I first came here, but I didn't realize it till the summer of 1998. I worked out here all summer long (more or less) and it's brilliant. For two months out of the year it truly is the most beautiful city on Earth. And now that I'm actually going to be living in the city proper, I'm pretty much delirious at all hours. Well, except for the commute. But everywhere you turn, houses on lakes and the Space Needle. I watched Six Feet Under last night and kept grinning at the Seattle scenes.

I had the most orgasmic haircut last night. The haircut itself was merely nice, but the shampoo and condition preceding it? Forget the gay boys giving massages, I need Maria washing my hair. I've never gotten my hair cut outside of the suburbs and/or South before, either, so I automatically felt like I was gaining cred by doing it. New life, new hair. (OK, it's an old haircut but it looks good on me and Jennifer Anniston.)
