I knew I'd love this album after hearing half of it on KEXP, and I was right. It's just, you know, fun. Tasty fun.

Sneaker Pimps - Splinter
Their second album, after the chick singer with the cool voice left. This one has more of a synth-pop/Joy Division flavor, which is cool, but of course, since it's not the exact same thing as the first album, no one has heard it.

Stereo Total - Stereo Total
Not quite as kitschy as their latest, but enough disco covers to make up for it.

Omigod--I didn't know the Sneaker Pimps had put out a second album. But the singer chick left?! Is it worth listening to?

But then I like that kind of broody stuff, as I said. Actually got the next album (but forgot the title) as well, but so far I like this one better.
