So apparently after skiing, six inches of snow had fallen, and people were having accidents like crazy. Right in front of Nick, there was one, so he swerved to avoid it. Lost control of his car, hit the median, but only going 35MPH.

There's a part of me that was just pissed I couldn't go to bed early - I had to drive all the way out to North Bend to pick him up from the tow truck place, all the while terrified that I'd get into an accident, too. So it was just a huge, dangerous inconvenience to me, since I was planning on getting to work early, since I'm leaving early for my flight.

And then there's the part of me that believes it was a cry for attention. If he'd actually gotten hurt, I might have had to cancel my trip, after all, and then I would resent him for that. But now I just resent him for the drive last night (since he'll be able to bring me to the airport, at least). I don't know why I believe that people do these things for sympathy - I suppose I subconsciously confuse cause and effect.

And then there's the part of me that thinks "How dare he make me fear for his life when I'm angry at him!"

It wasn't in seattle - it wasn't even in King County, I think.
