ack, i'm so sad I couldnt' watch Buffy, but I'm down to 1 week of the quarter left so I thought going to the library might be a bit more productive. It just makes me realize how addicted I am. mmmm MUST...HAVE...BUFFY-NESS!!
I thought this episode was a little cardboard-y. Maybe that was just Riley vibes. Plus we are getting a bit tired of Buffy jerking Spike around each time. But at least she did it with some care and respect this time. And Dawn all of a sudden is all happy cool with Buffy, and nobody is down on her for her stealing fetish?
I was thinking that being trapped in a house by a demon, and threat of jail, would probably mellow Dawn out a little. Anya was too stressed by the wedding to care about pressing charges. Although the episodes work much better if you don't look for strict continuity, since every writer puts their own slant on the characters.
(I first noticed in Season 2, when Buffy and Angel go from "When you kiss me, I wanna die" to Coffee At The Bronze and then smoochies in the Next. Episode.)
Anyway I was just so glad that this was the last Riley Episode ever that I even liked him a little. He always was better when he wasn't trying to mack on Buffy...
