last night

Hit up Thaiku with Douglas, his roommate Destiny, heathynn and mxtx last night. There's a secret smoking room in the back, but it stopped raining during happy hour so only the first two used it. Afterwards everyone else got conned convinced to go to the movies, but I stayed home and developed a great headache. And also two awesome mix CDs, I think I'll call them "Get High* and Put On." The first one is just great "power ballads", of the indie rock persuasion (like, the Cure and Arcade Fire and such). The second is techno/electronic downtempo (think Herbaliser and the Dining Rooms). So they should be played in that order - one lifts you up, one puts you down. I'll probably post them tonight.
