I'm still not done with Emma yet. I keep wanting to yell out who bought Miss Fairfax the piano, but Reg thinks I'm being weird. HO WELL.

Reread Prozac Nation, to compare it with the movie. First it took a shitload of liberties from the text, second the text is written in a rather more energetic way and therefore isn't as depressing as the movie. Also you know, movies kind of drag you into them in a different way than books do. And I'd forgotten that the reason I liked it in the first place is because of the way she sees sex/love as being her salvation. It didn't work for her of course, but I could relate.

Also it inspired me to get back to my novel, but then Reg came home and complained about feeling sick. I stripped him down and gave him water and put him to bed.

Today I bought a ginormous pineapple bun at Uwajimaya for like $2. I can't believe I ate the whole thing, I swear it was bigger than my head.
