kelpsw took me to "Take Me Out" last night. If you get a chance to see this tony-award winning play, do so. It was fabulously funny as well as emotionally uplifting and almost a little wrenching. Also, there are lots of penis shots.

trixiefirecat i have the problem where i don't really care if they hate me because WHAT KIND OF FRIEND STANDS BY AND LETS THE BEHAVE LIKE ASSHOLES? not that there's anything wrong with it, but my better friends can take a smackdown once in awhile, that's why i smack them...
my problem is, when i see people complain and ask for help and then take no action to help themselves, i start to dislike them. and then i get resentful and think "fuckers if i didn't know your damn problems in the first place, i wouldn't know how little you care about yourself to even do anything about them..." and that's the wrong thing too. and i can't expect people to do any differently. but I can do differently. i can learn from it. i can recognize these things sooner and not interact with them in the first place.
