I did indeed rip through the OSC book. I think I was annoyed with it b/c there was hardly any Peter Wiggin, whom I find to be the most fascinating character ever. But otherwise not bad. Really though I'm just suffering from Wheel of Time withdrawal, you know what I mean? Sure the later books are annoying but when you actually, you know, read them right in a row it's a lot more enjoyable. A lot of the action takes place within a week, so if you READ IT within a week it makes more sense and feels better and all that. I gave the newsgroup a glance yesterday and felt all this stupid nostalgia. ( more WoT blather )
