I went to see Starsky and Hutch yesterday, and I was very bored. First of all, there were very few car chases, none with guns blazes. Way too much attention on "plot." And it's like, my god you are doing a movie about a 70s TV show with Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson, if you can't have ultraviolence at least have ultrafunny. And there was none. Everything was fairly tame, I mean. Oh, look, Starsky shot a pony! Watdafug. Anyway. Very disappointing. But there was a shot of shirtless Snoop Dogg that made it all worth it.
When I was a kid I wouldn't eat a lot of stuff, but when I left home I realized that saying "i don't eat x" was just a silly generalization, when in reality what I meant was "I do not eat y, which is the most popular form/variety of x". Like I hate american cheese but like almost every other form. Same with peanuts. It's probably racist not to like peanuts but what do you want from me? I was utterly glad to see "honey roasted cashews" for sale at the drugstore. Hmmmm good.
