* It's way too cold for Seattle. I mean I had to scrape ice off my car this morning. That was just awful terrible and wrong.

* I didn't want to leave the house yesterday, well, not once I got back from the mall. I love how whenever Steve and I go to the mall, it's always b/c he needs to buy clothes or cologne or stuff from the Body Shop. I think I've bought one thing from the mall in the past year (the soap from Bath and Bodyworks). of course not having money sorta puts a damper on that. I need a new pair of jeans or something at some point, as one of my pairs has ripped in the knee.

* I think last night's Aqua Teen Hunger Force was the weirdest yet. In fact I may go so far as to say that I didn't really like it all that much. And I mean, I'm the person who watched all of Clerks a few weeks ago except for the 15 minutes of ATHF. So yeah.

* Our hot tub being broken really sucks right now, but what can you do? None of us can really afford to get it fixed, not sure if the landlord would take care of it either. So the late night debauchery on the weekends is far tamer. Oh well, the neighbors fucking bitch too much about us anyway. Stupid weirdo homeschooled kids.

The basic point of my rants about relationships is as follows:

In the beginning of a relationship, infatuation kicks things off. This is true in any relationship. Even if your standards are so high that you think only Perfectly Compatible Beings will bring you there, it's um, not true. You only know so much about a person in the beginning, so, you know, there's no possibly way you know how compatible you are. After the initial infatuation fades, then you can be more sensible about these things.

So the basic point is, one should not base a relationship off an initial infatuation.
