  • My hair covers my glasses now. I guess it's not that it looks bad, but this in-between stage is so hard to get to not-look-bad compared with the shorter hair that it drives me crazy. I'm all about the low-maintenance; I guess I should have just done this while I was unemployed instead, when I could totally just wear it in ugly barrettes and not care. Oh well. Another month and it'll be almost a bob, and um, even more trouble to take care of. Blargh. I don't know. I basically see that there are two haircuts that are low maintenance, the really short kind and the really long kind. If it's long enough I can just wash it before bed, and it frizzes up and actually looks good in the morning.

  • I pushed past my antisocial tendencies this weekend to take care of Boudoir, and go out Saturday night. Which was good, even if I did have to rely on chemicals to work up the nerve. But I saw [livejournal.com profile] xamichee for I guess the first time in a month, which was nice. We placed a bet, although I'm not sure if the 4:1 odds are in my favor or his. And also took a pic with me, him, and a girl whose name I've forgotten. Big Pimpin Yo.

  • Did get a lot of reading in, though... read the Sex and the City book (which is just a collection of those articles she wrote, I guess) and got halfway through Midnight's Children. So the book is really just icy and cold and not as funny as the show, a lot of the same stuff is covered, not as in depth of course. The humor that is there is stark and cold, and I think I'd die in new york. Anyway MC is pretty interesting though hella long and rambling. Not as bad as Eggers of course. heh.
