HAHAHAHAH erp. Sorry. People take things too seriously.

Something less funny, but in a GOOD way.

Saddam's fall causes terrorist cash shortage.

ha, I'd heard this before, but not in a while.

This is totally an urban legend, right?

Everyone loves Moulin Rouge, man. Which is going to be a good thing for us. Mwa ha ha ha.

I've been partying a little hard the past few days, but, on the other hand, it's the weekend.* Going to Sutekh/Safety Scissors tonight, continuing the trend and all. Everyone is going to be there apparently.

*apparently weekends now start on thursday

Maze of Death

Definitely one of the worst PKD books I've read, but still decent, especially with the ending. Ending made up for a lot. Not sure if the whole rest of it made up for it, but possibly. I really enjoyed the double-twist, though. And I can say no more.
On the other hand, it wasn't so good that you should read it, so... spoilers. )

O

Wanted to see this for ages, finally sat down and got to it. It's the remake of Othello, with Julia Stiles and Josh Hartnett (regrettably as Iago/Hugo). It wasn't bad, but the Branaugh version was of course far superior. I don't think it's that great of a play/plot, though, so you gotta deal with that anyway. Also, I'm not all that crazy about basketball, so that bit was blah. However the sex scene was tight. Off the hook. And I realize I'm twisted, since it ended up turning to rape more or less, but it was just sexy as hell aside from that. Or maybe because of that. Haha. Christ I need to get laid.

I also attempted to watch Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, but oh well.
