Dude, everyone is sick. Like, the whole fucking country. I guess that's what happens when people go home for the holidays and carry contagions east and west via airplanes, which are such amazing disease vectors I'm surprised stewardesses don't hand out surgical masks along with those hot towels. I mean at least first class should get some pathogen protection, wouldn't you think? I'm assuming Steve and I caught this cold from his sister, who probably caught it on the plane from NYC. She felt bad the first couple days anyway, and then the next day Steve and she were sick in earnest. Took me another five days, either because I have superior immunity by dint of not being a smoker, or maybe the virus was just attracted to Steve's genes being so similar to Sharron's.
