(no subject)

In high school my best friend and my boyfriend were in the school's Christian Youth Group. I went to their Bible meetings once or twice, but didn't really feel welcome. I don't know why, because I was reasonably good friends with everyone else in the group. I suppose it was the pseudo-religious atmosphere of "everyone's welcome." I can't really respect that. A real religion doesn't welcome all beliefs or creeds, dammit.

my technerd wishlist

1) a bigger hard drive. I have one 5G and one 4G, or something like that. Need to wrap it up y'all.

2) a Targus keyboard for my iPaq. This is a full-size keyboard for PDAs that folds to pocketsize.

3) 128MB compactflash card. No real reason, just would be nice to have more memory for my camera.

4) a new digicam. Mine is 2 years old, after all.

5) a laptop. What I really want is the one Nick has, but I'll settle for anything that has no touchpad and is thin/lightweight.

6) cellphone - I need to be a lemming in some way, after all.
