After a couple of years, no kidding, of only reading fanfic pretty much, I've started reading again. Reg held me down at gunpoint and forced me to read Malcolm Gladwell's books - we did Outliers audio last year on road trips, and then Blink and The Tipping Point. Good stuff, although I'd prefer to read them if they were twice as long/in depth.
And then some hiking books, Trail Tested and Chris Townsend's and a couple others on Kindle, 75 Scrambles from the library, and a Mt. Rainier book with like 200 trails.
Finally some youth fantasy books, got through The Curse Workers trilogy last night (although I'm sure more are coming) by Holly Black, that was rather enjoyable. Mobsters+con artists+magic, what's not to love? I'd read Tithe when it first came out, and the two sequels this week. Read the first three books in the Seven Realms series from the library too, definitely gripping.

I lost my card though so I'm dealing with Bellevue/King County shit now, and the digital collection here is pants. Which is fine, cos I prefer reading books a lot more, I am like the opposite of an auditory learner. I've literally gotten into car accidents concentrating on CDs.
