One of the many things my last serious ex and I disagreed over was music. He liked basically stuff from the radio, and it drove me absolutely mad. We only agreed on 80s music. Reg's tastes, although not a perfect intersection, are so much more matched to mine than anyone else I've ever been with. If music is at all important to you, I think having someone to share it with is truly wonderful.

I think serious difference in music taste is a total dealbreaker.

It's really hard to have a relationship with someone with totally different musical tastes, but on the other hand, in rural Humboldt county, you only have so many choices, and most of them don't include an affinity for indie rock, so I've resigned myself to the possibility of not having that resonance.
