For my own xmas present to myself I got some Modcloth items, and a Razor scooter. After Reg showed me how to brake properly, I was not so afraid, and have managed to skate to and from the Ballard Commons Park. There were a few five year old boys trying out their new skateboards with mom's supervision, too. I did not hit any of them, although I thought I might for a few seconds at one point. Anyway this thing is so cool and my only regret is that it doesn't fit in my normal backpack. MUST GET BAG.

I find it incredibly amusing how I see ModCloth advertised EVERYWHERE now. I worked for them when they were first getting started, just a tiny business run out of the owners basement. I packed orders. Now they've gotten to be quite big, and have a new bigger dedicated space and all that jazz- it's crazy to me. Good for them, but still just weird.
