lauralhIf anyone is interested, Goodwill sells snowboards (at least the one in my 'hood) and gear for very reasonable prices. You can get outfitted for under a hundred bucks. And this sunny weather enables any car to drive to Snoqualmie Pass, where a newbie can get a lesson+ticket deal for only a bit more than a ticket alone.
