I turned off my Intellistation last night to check out what kind of memory I would need, and also to airspray it a bit, and either the former or the latter has caused some trouble; XP won't boot anymore, stays on the windows logo screen forever. How irritating. Also, the memory needed for this kind of computer costs as much as a new desktop PC.

Could be the so-called capacitor plague - I've lost more than one computer to that exact same situation. (Well, okay, one of them rebooted at the windows logo screen instead of halting there.)
