the bad: Reg seems to have relapsed with a fever of 101 and all that. Great.

the good: We rented Shoot 'Em Up and watched that last night. It's in that genre of Ridiculous that Crank also lives in. The first ten minutes of the movie involve Clive Owen waiting at a bus stop, eating a carrot, then seeing armed gunmen chasing a heavily pregnant woman. He follows them, takes her gun, kills most of them, helps deliver the baby, and carefully aims at the umbilical cord to cut and tie it.

And it just gets more ridiculous from there. I mean, Paul Giamatti is the wise-cracking badguy, and Monica Bellucci is the hooker with the heart of gold. Every bad stereotype seems to be there in spades. It's utterly glorious. Bad the way a bad movie should be.
