I am working on a dbFest post, I promise. In the meantime, I'm renewing my Tim Powers obsession. I re-read Declare and then bought Three Days to Never and On Stranger Tides. If you think you would like really realistic urban fantasy/horror with real people - basically, all the strange things some-famous-person did are explained with a supernatural subtext. (These include people like Lord Byron, Charlie Chaplin, Coleridge, Blackbeard, and Kim Philby.)

I am also reading Tales of Mu, which is an online serial about a different Earth that uses magic laws instead of science laws. The action takes place at a university, mostly in the non-human dorm, and involves lesbian spanking. (Text is therefore 18+.) I read the whole thing (what's there, anyway) twice in the past month.
