Jun. 18th, 2007 11:32 amMy wrist hurts so I'm not really online at home.
Friday after work we went to REI and I got some Tekko socks and Moab Ventilator shoes. They're fairly sweet, I got to wear them later as it got chilly and I had sandals on. This was at Wendy&Johnny's, where we ate lots of grilled meat and watched silly YouTube vids.
Reg got a little tipsy so I drove home, and then Will and Asa came by (consecutively rather than concurrently). I fell asleep in the middle of The Meaning of Life. Next day I got up early and showered, then we got ready for the Fremont Fair. Sid contacted us so we picked him up and drove down. Which was a mistake as there was no parking, and lots of other idiots unaware of this. Finally parked up near Phinney. Gah. But it was a fun time, we saw the parade and wandered about the fair and ate fried foods.
After the long trek back, we drove home and taught Sid how to play Munchkin. Ang came over for a while and we put on Meaning of Life again. Later we went to see Simon and watched Earth Girls Are Easy. And then we came home and watched Breach, an object lesson in why you shouldn't take your IT guy for granted.
Sunday I got a haircut and we went to Reg's parents for Father's Day. I was slightly narcoleptic all day but I managed to stay awake in front of them. Not a bad weekend, all around, anyway.
