This year Daylight Saving Time (DST) extends by approximately four weeks.  In compliance with this provision in the Energy Policy Act of 2005, DST dates in the United States and Canada will start three weeks earlier (2:00 A.M. on the second Sunday in March) and will end one week later (2:00 A.M. on the first Sunday in November).

That's 100% Congress' fault. I remember when the bastards were discussing it.

this is actually a good thing. I used to argue that daylight savings time sucked, until I realized that its actually going back *from* daylight savings time that is stupid. this both gives us more light in the evenings, and will rouse people on how stupid switching back and forth actually is when all their computers and what not get out of synch.

Glorious... more light! More light!

And, let's see how the little kids like trick-or-treating in the dark, for a change!

The night. Not, the dark. Because, of course, it gets dark at night. Or, it gets night at dark.
