I can actually sort-of, almost, not-really understand people being into anthropomorphic animal characters like Usagi Yojimbo and the TMNT. It's like any other genre. Writing or drawing a rich fantasy world in which all the characters are human shaped rabbits, cats and rodents is really no different that creating a traditional fantasy world of elves, dwarves, and halflings. Which is why furry porn is exactly as creepy as elf porn. (or creepier, since there's that whole bestiality thing involved)
But I just can't understand people who dress up as furries. Because people in fursuits don't look like humanshaped animals, they look like goddamn sports mascots.
I played Bugs Bunny one summer at Six Flags in NJ. Trust me, there is NOTHING sexual about those costumes. Or even mildly enjoyable! [nods]
