Why would someone pay $100 for a 2GB iPod Nano when they can get 15 times the storage for less than twice the price?

For one thing, the Nano is flash-based memory rather than hard drive based. Which is all kinds of better.

For another, lots of storage is overrated. (http://herbaliser.livejournal.com/1265302.html) At least if your music collection is much larger than 30GB.
