well, he's said that he's down with polyamory on numerous occasions (at least as a concept, i don't know whether his current relationship is poly)
i don't think his point was about not believing in bisexuals though. it was more about how he sees it as a pretty sweet scenario to be able to be legally married AND still have queer sex. if you don't like both genders, you don't have that luxury (other than if you get married to a friend for legal benefits or that sort of thing).
if i had a sex column and got asked the same questions all the time i would probably enjoy going off on tangents about politics, books, etc... esp. if the questions were silly.
in other words, he just wants to rant about the lack of gay marriage and will use any excuse, no matter how implausible, to do so ;)
as someone else said, "I support Dan Savage's right to be an ass about people complaining about their marriages. He's not legally allowed to have one, and that is worse than some middle-aged guy not being allowed to suck a dick while his wife watches."
Equating who's predjudices are more valid then others is a slippery slope. I say, get your fucking judgment (and laws) out of my fucking bedroom.
I have no problem with my wife sucking my husband's cock while Dan Savage watches and his husband sits in the corner taking notes for his next column. So long as its kept out of legislation.
Funny, I don't believe in anything BUT bisexuality.
I usually identify as heterosexual, and I am married, but there are some guys that if you got me drunk enough, I'd totally do them. I think everybody has that little hint of potential gayness in them. People are just people, and late at night with a lot of booze, anybody can be gay. I probably would.
Except for Antonio Banderas. He wouldn't need to get me drunk first. Whoo-ah!!
Uh oh, someone's not happy with the Washington supreme court. Oh wait, lots of people aren't happy with them. I'm sure our state legislature will come through for all the gays that want to get married though, right?
More to the point, Dan didn't say anything about unmarried men and bisexuality. So if you want to swing both ways and have Dan's approval, just don't wed!

it wouldn't seem right to call MLK 'whiny'
