Judo takes from jujutsu("gentle art") the principle of using one's opponent's strength againsthim and adapting well to changing circumstances. For example, if theattacker was to push against his opponent he would find his opponent stepping to the side and allowing (usually with the aid of a foot to trip him up) his momentum to throw him forwards (the inverse being true for pulling).

i like aikido, which utilizes the grappling and throwing techiniques of jujitsu, and blends it with the sword art, kendo. you learn how to wrestle with a sword in hand. i believe stomping some wrestlers might be in order. it doesn't matter how strong you are.
