I really don't get jabber. I use Trillian + Gtalk. I guess I can't use this through Google Talk?

well not the gmail page. But if you have a separate app probably.
At work I use Meebo, and it works in that.

I think so - Jabber is server dependent. I guess if you had Trillian Pro you could have multiple connections.
