lauralhwhen I was a teenager I kept confusing Concrete Blonde with Blondie. It was therefore a pleasant surprise in college to learn that no, Blondie was actually awesome and Concrete Blonde was not. I have recently made a similar mistake with the Arcade Fire and the Fiery Furnaces. I know now that the former is awesome, the latter is wankery.
