a cry for help
May. 6th, 2006 07:42 pmYou know, it's one thing when people fall into the WoW hole. It's horrible, nerdy, dorky, and embarrassing, but it's something I've seen before (Everquest) so it's simple enough to deal with.
But the Lost people are too scary for words.

Date: 2006-05-07 03:09 am (UTC)Lost is interesting and fun to watch, but in the end it's still just storytelling and fiction. I don't see any significant difference between people who are obsessed with Lost and obsessions with any other type of fiction (Harry Potter, Firefly/Serenity, 24, Family Guy, Simpsons, Daytime TV, etc).

Date: 2006-05-07 05:22 am (UTC)I can't say I found it fascinating.
24 on the other hand is getting freakishly cartoonishly unrealistic, to the point where I wish they'd just do the whole thing in rotoscope. By which I mean it's finally getting really, really good.
