lack of smell

I went to the beach for about 30 minutes today. I was about to get heatstroke, so I then went home and took a nap.

Yesterday I tried to clean my bathtub. What I need to do is fill it up before going to like, a movie or concert or something. I mean, fill it up with bleach, because nothing else will fucking work. That manic panic shit is never coming out. We aren't allowed to use Ajax so letting bleach soak for a few hours is the only thing I can think of. Anyway, yeah, I just scrubbed and scrubbed and nothing happened. Some of the surface dirt rolled together into small pieces of crud, but that was about it. I got so frustrated I cleaned the toilet, inside AND outside.

After my nap I watched The Big Lebowski. I never noticed before how much weeeed the Dude is sucking down in that movie. Or how very similar to my father John Goodman's character was. Or how many times everyone says "Shut the fuck up Donnie." I told Reg we needed to own The Hudsucker Proxy. We also watched the little "making of" featurette showing what kind of stoned geniuses the Coen brothers are.

I wish I didn't have to go to work tomorrow.

You aren't ALLOWED to use Ajax? What sort of Stalinesque home renters association are you living in? And how would they ever possibly know? Since the dawn of tubs the ladies have been bent over the porcelain with the Ajax. That's the American way. 69 cents a can and nothing works better! This may be how they keep your deposits, by refusing to allow you to use the one thing that actually can clean a tub.

just use the ajax with plenty of water and a nonscratchy sponge or rag. just sort of let it be blobby and wet all over the surface, then gently rinse (probably 137973 times). if you don't scrub, i think it will be fine. i've used ajax in this fashion on plastic bathroom surfaces with no apparent damage.

i went to the beach for about half an hour today, too. i tried going for a morning walk arond the hill, but i had a panic attack about potential slugs, stole sid's car, and took a mellow joyride to golden gardens. never been there so early, or on a sunday... i like the water.

Scrubbing bubbles is the best stuff ever. It has never failed me. Spray a thick coat on and leave it for about 15 minutes, then wipe (or scrub, depending on severity of stain).

That gel cleaner for toilet bowls (I use the one with teflon made by clorex) works great for bathtubs and kitchen sinks. The teflon prevents future staining!

i did notice that he smokes a hell of a lot of weed. quite casually too, i might add. notice the amount of "caucasians" that he drinks, though -- all that half-and-half!
