OCD is an example (it's particularly common in young boys, apparently). Borderline personality disorder (BPD) and antisocial disorder are other examples. Psychologists won't (or shouldn't) diagnose a woman with BPD until she's 20, for instance (although I believe it's expected to end around 16); anti-social disorder is the male equivelent to BPD (similar root problem, different way of expressing it).
