I have to highly recommend not listening to the radio in order not to become completely sick and tired of pop music. Or anything that's played 20 times a day. I don't know! I just listen to what I like!

My threshold for "clearchannel popular tastes" is about once a week. For my own, it depends. I can get stuck in a rut and listen to one song three times a day, but then I don't want to hear it the rest of the week. This is still apparently a lot more stringent than anecdotal evidence suggests most people's thresholds are.

Every now and then I'll discover a song and go through this terrible phase of infatuation, only to find out that everyone else is sick of it.

perich: I'm loving this song right now, guys. It's by a band called - get this - 'Franz Ferdinand.' Like the Archduke of Austria, get it? Anyhow, the song's called "Take Me Out," and it's ... guys? Guys? Hello?

my threshold is closer to zero. even kexp, which is pretty awesome, i have to turn off frequently.
