firefox blows

step two: it crashes, so restart
step three: wait till it bloats up over 200MB and crashes
step four: go to step one

edit: SessionSaver makes this far less annoying, btw.

Yeah, I have been increasingly unimpressed. And I don't know why all the fanboys are drooling over 1.5. I switched over to opera for the most part, but that fails on the Yahoo! Mail.

I assume you're running the most current version? Try changing this value in about:config, should make it use less ram.

that can happen if some extension is not compatible with the new version. copy the extensions folder and rename it, then add them back until you find one that is fucking it up.

Firefox does kinda blow right now. Too bad IE blows more. Firefox hangs up like every 4 minutes on my work computer. At home I use Linux, and it doesn't have so many issues. Of course, I'm still using 1.0.7 there... Fuck 1.5
