quiet evening

Finally saw March of the Penguins. Unlike everyone else who saw this movie, I do not want a pet penguin. I want a penguin suit. This is probably related to the fact that it's under 30 today, and their fur looks rather warm. But, I put on a silk blouse and two sweaters and I felt ok waiting for the bus. Died once I got to the office and we had to do a fire drill. Only five floors but still.

I wasn't sure if I fell asleep so early last night because a) I ate a lot of Scooter's onion rings, b) drank two Spires, or c) had no caffeine at all except two cups of tea at work.

Oh, we also started (finally) season 2 of Bullshit. The PETA episode is disturbing. Not because it really says much I didn't already know and hate about PETA, but it's just so unpleasant I don't really like to think about it.

they also pointed out that one of the top brass in PETA has diabetes, and would be dead if not for animal research into insulin and such.
