I've read only two!

Of course, that's more of the intellectual geek list, I think. Some of the really far gone geeks read some of the series things that I've never even heard of.

Plus, there's Lord Of The Rings. Both a geek book AND a normal people book.

For shame...

You've never read Neuromancer or Dune?

But they both have drugs...

I read the first 50 pages of both and I was bored to tears. I was also 19.

Huh. I have never found Asimov particularly gripping. Maybe Dune was too male-coming-of-agey.

I just read Foundation this past year, but I started reading him at age 10.

Oh and...

Is American Gods any good?

Well, it's not Sandman, but it's pretty good. Although NOT AS GOOD AS THE MAN IN THE HIGH CASTLE.
