Cite your source. It's my understanding, via our docs and ARNPs, that most common antibiotics don't reduce the efficacy of hormonal BC. However, some anti-seizure meds and many anti-virals more commonly used for hugely immunosuppressed (read: HIV+) people will make BC not work.
Who the hell really knows how effective hormonal birth control is.
One day its one thing that reduces the effectiveness. and then the next day its something else. I still think the human being is the weak link most of the time.
