Flintheart Glomgold vs. Scrooge McDuck
Sep. 30th, 2005 10:42 amReg forced me to watch Treasure of the Sierra Madre last night. I have to say I had completely wacked out expectations of it, and as a result didn't really enjoy it much. It did make me want to watch Deadwood, though.
For those of you who haven't seen it, it's a slow-paced psychological study of what greed (in this case, gold fever) can do to someone. I guess I just liked it better when it was called Ducktales Series Premiere. You know, when they found the missing Aztec gold and the 500-year-old man followed them around the world. Although I must admit that I've never, ever seen a villainous laugh done quite so believably as by Bogie.
