Someone I haven't talked to in a while asked how we were, and I said "fine". She was like "fine, or good?" I said "Good, wonderful, everyday is better than the last, blah blah blah puke."

It's wuv, goddammit; wove is the past-tense form of the verb weave, and to the best of my knowledge neither of us sat down at the loom to engage in the creation of a significant other, as a) we are people and thus not constructed by weaving, on a loom or otherwise, and b) Laural can't sew, and although I can, she was born a good four years before me. Even if you're using the word metaphorically, the objection that neither of us had any part in the genesis of the other still stands.
