note to all bands: do not cover U2
Sep. 12th, 2005 11:37 pmBasically you should only cover like, one hit wonders.
Apart from that the Bravery was awesome. As was Maximo Park, although alas, all ages show and us being over the age of 23, we didn't get there till 9:15, at which point they played 4 songs and then said "THANK YOU SEATTLE!" and left.
There was a gothy girl, like black hair bobbed perfectly Tim Burtony, choker, black lace tank top and a tatto on her right shoulderblade that I couldn't make out in the dark. We danced next to her till they played HONEST MISTAKE at which point we moved forward. Not far enough to touch anyone, but far enough to get into the pseudo-moshpit. My feet were stepped on a few times and then we were just kind of pushed around. I actually love this, and is one of my most distinct memories of New Year's in Tokyo.
And fuck, BRMC wed and Mono next tuesday??
