I've went off about this concept before. I call them GFAs, or Great Fucking Albums. You know it's a GFA when you hear a song from it, and you immediately expect the next song on the album to play next.
i just put the first one that came to mind. there are a lot of albums like that for me. i'm generally not a fan of shuffle/random but sometimes you can tell a band took particular care in track sequencing.
That's actually how I listen to all albums (in fact, I wrote my own Winamp plugin to do random-album-order but still play an album at a time :P). But there's a few which just plain work well in order. So.
I see a lot of Pink Floyd on the answers! Amen to that. Although, one of my favorite uses of modern technology was to burn Dark Side Of The Moon WITHOUT the wretched track with the obnoxious stoned girl screaming. Much better that way.
