soooo I've read all the Anastasia books except for the one about Her Chosen Career.
To counteract the light and sweetness I've also been re-reading the Sin City comics.
Also watched Layer Cake, a movie which is far better than its title would imply. Not as silly as Lock Stock but close to as complicated. Maybe a cross between that and Gangster No. 1. Drug dealers fall upon a million pills, but they were stolen from Serbians that like to chop off people's heads... Anyway Sienna Miller is in it for no reason whatsoever except to look good. Well Ok she's dating someone important. ANYWAY it's not my kind of movie - crime - but the drug deals pulled me in. Murder bad, drugs good. That's my philosophy in life as well as movie choices. In books I prefer affairs.

I liked Layer Cake quite a bit as well. Saw it one the Ave while it was in pre-release, completley loaded and giggling throughout. I liked the sniper scene in the park, near the end. Classy.

I'm still totally sad I left my pile of books to borrow at your place on Firday (except for Wonder Boys) especially since I have nothing to read right now, sigh
