The first time I saw "Bart's Comet", I asked my mother what the hell Flanders was singing at the end, and she replied with a foamy rant about the stupid "Que Sera Sera" song. I'd never heard the song before, and her vehemence in her affected upperclass accent filled me with glee. Especially coming from an ex-hippie.

[My mother's mother was a schoolteacher, and from her she picked up the affected way of speaking, which was always more pronounced in angry moods. When my mother was relaxed and being goofy, she'd sound more Cajun.]

At that point, no, and I still don't recall the song being in there.

It plays at the very beginning of the movie as they segue into a croquet game.

Beat me to it. I will never hear that song without visualizing Veronica getting bonked in the head.

Every time I read that subject line I get Long Black Veil stuck in my head.
