I'm also forced to wonder if cigarettes before 1930 were "cleaner". How much crap did the major tobacco companies start putting in those things as smoking became more popular??

Which makes me wonder if I smoke clove cigarettes the proper way. I pretty much do the same thing with those as I do with cigars, I think.

Doesn't help that the Military handed out free cartons of smokes to soldiers either. My Grandfather learned how to smoke in the navy.
