bacall and bogie

We watched Dark Passages which is, like, the most inappropriately named movie ever. I didn't get the connection. It was a weak plot but told in a rather artful, suspenseful way; I was even convinced that Humphrey Bogart was handsome at one point. Lauren Bacall of course still takes my breath away. I mean I get all caught up in her face and then the camera pulls away and I'm all "OH YEAH DAMN." Not many women could pull off those "shapeless" wraps.
