west edge girls

picked up a flyer about the West Edge Sculpture invitational. If you go downtown near the art museum or Benoroya you'll see a bunch of 'em. I like some of them but I'm wondering, could I commission one of the artists to make me a coffee table or shelves in that style? I think that would be much cooler. Cos I dunno how to use a welding torch myself.

My roommate has a friend who's into working with metal. I'm not sure exactly what he does or how good he is but I'm pretty sure he has gear and ability required to build a coffee table. If you'd like I can get some contact information for you.
