I watched The Third Man last night. Man, post-war european cynicism is so grand, part of why I liked Casablanca so much. If you haven't seen it, ummm just see it, plot's a bit too complicated to avoid giving away everything. But I think Jack Black could so play Orson Welles one day.

The Third Man is so grand and fascinating.
Have you ever seen The Magnificent Ambersons? Orson Welles made it and it is one of those films that the studios fucked with a bit and it always made him cry to see it.
