I always had an idea for the 'final episode' of G.I. Joe.
Duke storms into the oval office (Reagan is President) and throws a folder on his desk, filled with evidence that the Reagan administration funded COBRA as part of its 'War on Drugs' (remember the episode where G.I. Joe and COBRA united to take on a drug lord? And how else could COBRA afford all those advanced weapons and those badly hidden but impressive bases?).
Sobbing, Duke cries out, "Why'd you do it, Gipper? WHY?!" Naturally, Reagan replies with, "I...I do not recall..."
Then we pan out, with Reagan sitting silently on his desk while Duke is sobbing and crouched in a fetal position, as a 'sad' version of the G.I. Joe theme plays...
