This is so weird, we're like the LJ pain twins. I guess it's dry socket season. I never thought I'd wish I could bring home my very own needle and novacaine to give myself injections, but I'd be all over it right now.

why do eye-socket fucking connotations instantly spring to mind when i hear the word "dry socket"

Seem like its really unrelated to how well you care for them, and it happens about 3/4 of the time anyways. Or at least so says my anecdotal evidence from my friends. Its really making me want to just deal with my jaw hurting from time to time. Well, except for that whole bent out of shape teeth part.
