anyway my point was that there's a million ways terrorists could harm large amounts of people, but they just aren't doing it. the real terror campaign is the government trying to get everyone to live in fear.
Sure, but the 9/11 thing was actually done. I'm pretty surprised they went that way instead of something like this. I mean, there's so many easier ways to fuck america, you know?
yeah, and 9/11 had a pretty obvious political message: attacking the military and financial icons of the united states. as much as the govt would have you believe, terrorists are not after salt of the earth americans in anytown, USA. I'm not saying these guys have a high regard for human life or anything, but they dont kill randomly and haphazardly.
Terrorists tend to make public attacks on public targets. Consider the Oklahoma City bombing, the World Trade Center attacks (both of them), the subway gas attacks in Tokyo. Poisoning five hundred thousand people at random would be hard to claim credit for.
